In early 2010,Mag-x of Japan have reported that Toyota has been developed a car that will compete with world’s cheapest car,Tata Nano.but after the time given,There’re no more information from both Toyota or media and situation is silent like a graveyard.Rumored have been said that the project was put in the locker and postponed indefinitely.

Among the unsuccessfulness of Tata Nano which enjoy sell in India just 4,000-6,000 unit per month which a far of more than expectation of more than 200,000 unit per year.More importantly, the pre booking of around 200,000 unit has been cancel !!.And since arrived for few year,The Nano have not yet been export in large volume to others countries.Such a slow demand,we can see why Toyota delay the car.

Come to Specifications,If you want to know,Toyota is planed the similar styling of Nano as you see in the Autointrends’s rendering.The dimensions of this car are 3150*1535*1600 (L*W*H).It will have a 2-cylinder 800cc engine that will be placed over the rear axle (compare with just 642 CC that install in the same place in the Nano).Cope with CVT transmission.The weight just 600kg and fuel economy is reported at 30 kmpl!

If the car get the greenlight, it will be good but that thing is what we must wait and see
